Icarus International Group welcomes Kevin Ten Kate aboard as the new Project Manager. Kevin comes to us with over 25 years of experience working with both aviation and heavy industrial turbine parts. Kevin Will be responsible for our inventory and processing parts from engine removal and tear-down all the way to Overhaul and then to the sales Department. Kevin holds a BS in Organizational Leadership and an MBA from Marist College. Kevin also served in the US NAVY on an aircraft carrier in the Pacific.


Dallas Hosts 17th MRO Americas 2012 Exhibition

Icarus International Group becomes an Asiana Airlines Approved Vendor

Icarus International Group has been qualified as a Distributor to Asiana Airlines, one of South Korea's two major airlines. Korea is a 74,000,000 consumer market. As a member of Star Alliance, Asiana Airlines operates 14 domestic and 90 international passenger routes, and 27 cargo routes throughout Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania. The company employs 9,600 people. Asiana Airlines is the largest shareholder in Air Busan, a low-cost regional carrier joint venture.


Icarus Int’l Group Executives set-up several business meetings in Korea

Icarus Int’l Group’s General Manager Thouki Stavris and Director of Purchasing & Sales Michael Zoes travelled to Seoul, Korea and had a series of successful meetings with local aviation industry executives. An important purchase agreement for CF6-80 HPT Blades was also signed. The IIG management team is optimistic in entering the Korean aviation market.


Icarus International Group becomes an AMECO Approved Vendor

It is our pleasure to announce that as of December of 2011 Icarus International Group is an approved supplier to AMECO Beijing. AMECO is a major regional MRO and was founded in 1989 by Air China as a 60/40 joint venture with minority partner Lufthansa. The main facilities are in Beijing, but it also has 6 outstations in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Tianjin, Qingdao and Chengdu.
